Heh. Craftylilly finally finished a 3 year old WIP, a
birth announcementfor her second child. She's got two close up photos, and the buny is just adorable (the bluebird looks a wee bit angry to me. *g*).

Harry Potter fan? The News & Observer has a whole article of Harry Potter-related links, including some craft ones. In particular, it turns out that The Leaky Cauldron, a Harry Potter fansite, has some needlework projects, including a collection of house crests meant for plastic canvas work but could easily be adapted to another fabric.

There's an interesting sounding
exhibit at Touchstones Rochdale in Rochdale, UK opening Monday July 16. Called the "Eye of the Needle," it explores "the cross over between fine art and contemporary craft."

Bev at Easy Crafts 4 Fun shows off her daughter Jillian's second ever
finish. It's a cute pair of hearts, that's impressing me simply bc she backstitched the outlines and smiles. I know lots of long time stitchers who still hate backstitching. And, I think those are french knots on the background as well. Great job!
